I’m too stern.
Japanese had became some I HAD to do, something unrelated to my life. It would somehow all make sense sometime ahead.
I was wrong. I may still be.
Enlightenment came to me yesterday. Being quite a big music listener, I was looking for some new groups and decided to see what I could find on Japanese sites. Not only did I found some great sites (ナタリー being the best so far) but I soon realized I could understand some of it and was learning quite a few words on the go.
I felt stuck for so long, working grammar, kanji, trying to understand fast pace podcasts, … It was too much, too early.
Whereas music is part of my everyday life. Digging music news, looking for new stuff, buying what I find interesting… This, I can find time and interest practicing.
Thanks AJATT, for showing the way. But it’s one more lesson I had to learn the hard way…
